EACH YEAR, the best Mobile Legends: Bang Bang teams across the globe come together to fight for their dream to reign supreme in the M-Series World Championships.

Beyond money and glory, the champions earn the privilege to immortalize their legacy in style by choosing a hero for a championship skin.

Throughout the history of M-Series, four Filipino teams have already won the world title and left their marks with their respective championship skins.

With the release of the new M5 World Championship skin for Brody and the first-ever Finals MVP skin for Paquito, let’s take a look at all the M-Series Championship skins and their history.

M1: The number Wannn Harith

EVOS Legends of Indonesia was hailed as the first M-Series champion after beating Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ) Hoshi in a nail-biting Grand Finals, 4-3, at the inaugural MLBB World Championships held in Malaysia back in 2019.

A key reason to their success? One factor was Muhammad "Wannn" Ridwan's Harith which was simply busted throughout the tournament. Seeing him dash around to chase opponents, even those hiding inside their towers, was an annoying sight that MLBB pros had to deal with during the early days.

And because of it's impact, Harith became the first ever M-Series Champion skin, wearing a sleek blue and white superhero outfit with a futuristic cape.

M2: The birth of Karl-tusok

Bren Esports etched their name in history as the first Filipino team to win an MLBB world title after conquering Myanmar’s Burmese Ghouls in a historic M2 World Championship bout, that saw both teams fight to the death in a 7-game slugfest.

As Bren stood tall on the world stage, the team selected Lancelot as their championship skin in honor of the Finals MVP, Karl 'KarlTzy' Nepomuceno, whose iconic fast-paced gameplay with the assassin hero, left a lasting impression to the community.

Bren Esports' Lancelot dons a sleek black and silver outfit, accentuated by their signature bright yellow accents and a cutting-edge sword.

M3: We Want Estes

Blacklist International claimed the M3 World Championship title after pulling a dominant sweep against compatriots Onic Philippines.

There was no breaking the code as Blacklist reaching their prime courtesy of their Estes pick, and it made sense for them to select the Moon Elf as their championship skin in honor of team captain Johnmar “OHMyV33NUS” Villaluna, who brought healer-support heroes to the spotlight.

However, the skin selection took an unexpected turn when OhMYV33NUS revealed in a stream that Blacklist International had to submit three hero options to MLBB developer Moonton for the championship skin, potentially leaving the initial choice out of consideration.

This sparked the #WeWantEstes movement, leading disheartened fans to give MLBB a one-star rating.

Eventually Blacklist and Moonton resolved the issue and pushed through with the Estes skin, featuring a monochromatic hero suit and a holographic scroll.

M4: Ya-way of the Dragon

ECHO Philippines pulled off a dominant sweep against rivals Blacklist International in the M4 World Championship, denying the Codebreakers a historic back-to-back M-Series title.

Their surprise 'house of highlights' aggression, which saw them overwhelm their foes, was a staple gameplan, and who among the heroes would embody that philosophy?

That's where Tristan 'Yawi' Cabrera's signature hero, Chou, enters.

ECHO's Chou made waves among the championship skins, sporting stylish streetwear with a purple and white varsity jacket and matching sneakers, accented in gold.

Oh and the appearance of the orca was also a unique touch.

M5: Winning it twice

AP.Bren became the first team to win the M-World Championship twice after beating Onic Indonesia in the M5 World Championship, extending the Philippines' era of dominance in MLBB.

For the first time in the history of M-Series, the Hive received two championship skins, with Brody as the championship skin and Paquito in honor of the Finals MVP.

The standout gold laner Marco “Super Marco” Requitiano helped propel AP.Bren against Onic Indonesia with his impeccable marksmanship.

Meanwhile, David “FlapTzy” Canon took the spotlight with a masterful play on Paquito, earning him the Finals MVP award.

After a long wait, Brody and Paquito have arrived in style both donning the AP.Bren bomber jacket with a sleek black-and-gold finish and hexagonal details inspired by the beehive.
