And he already fulfilled that promise as he made another surprise appearance, only this time around, landing in Cebu.
Speed started really well as he managed to interact with another YouTube personality in Lincoln Cortez Velasquez aka CongTV. At last, the dream union that fans awaited has finally happened.
With these two together, we could expect a lot of laughs and gags between these two YouTube icons, however despite the positive start which saw Speed enjoy some delicacies in Cebu, things began spiraling downward.
First is the usual problems that have plagued the Philippines: the internet.
Too much lag!
Speed's livestream was filled with a lot of connectivity problems and fans had no choice but to watch through the sudden blackouts and freeze frames that took place.
By the time fans watched the stream for over one hour and 20 minutes, a huge black screen was seen which lasted for over 10 minutes.
Due to this issue, Speed apologized to the community.
"Cebu has bad internet, I'm so sorry. This sh*t is cooked, Cebu is cooked. I take an L."
"Chat we gotta take an L on this one, but we move on from this. This whole city is literally full of f*cking no connection at all, which I do not know why. Which I was not told, but we took an L."
And when comparing his experience to the time he visited Manny Pacquiao, here's what the American YouTube sensation had to say.
"Even in General Santos, it was better internet connection and General Santos is at the middle of the desert."
Due to the connection problems, doubts started to creep up.
"I'm not even sure if we should continue streaming just for y'all respects," he said.
Eventually Speed reached a boiling point in his journey as another problem awaits.
The maniacal crowd returns
Inside the bus, Speed was constantly bombarded by fans knocking on the bus he was riding. The livestream even highlighted that his bus was being surrounded by cyclists and a horde of fans.
Speed looked for ways to reach his desired destination ASAP but his attempts were futile as he discovered that there was only one motorbike available, meaning he wouldn't be able to tag along his convoy.
He had no choice but to stay inside the bus, and when he was stuck on traffic, the bombarding started to erupt.
Speed suddenly lost his cool, opened the windows and screamed at the top of his lungs.
"Stop banging on the godd*mn window!"
"Hey stop banging on the window alright. Don't bang on the window!"
"STOP F*CKING BANGING!"
But despite his screams, the crowd kept on charging towards him. With the chaos getting out of control, one of his guards suddenly said: "Get the police escort, we're out of here!"
With so much negativity, Speed abruptly ended his stream. He also had to cancel some of his plans involving CongTV.
"This stream is cooked chat." he emphasized. "This is about to be worse than Manila."
"This may be the worst stream," he ended.
