WHO WOULD'VE THOUGHT that this day would happen?

In one of the biggest surprise appearances ever, American variety content creator, Darren Jason Watkins Jr. aka IShowSpeed, has arrived in the Philippines.

And in typical Speed fashion, he immediately went live on YouTube, where he went straight to the slums of Manila. He was immediately swarmed by kids and fans alike.

In the video, Speed would randomly walk around while conducting commentary on his experience, and he even shouted his signature: "Arf! Arf!" phrase.

What else was Speed doing in Manila?

Speed got a chance to play basketball on the streets with the crowd cheering him to dunk the ball.

Unfortunately he wasn't able to dunk the ball given that the rim was 'Too high!' according to Speed.

Speed even got a chance to play 1-v-1 basketball against one of the fans, where he lost to a Filipino street baller. Afterwards a fan gifted him a LeBron James jersey.

But there were other shenanigans Speed did in the Philippines, which makes us wonder if there are big plans that await. Will we see a collab between him and CongTV? Will he try out Balut?

As he went on with his stream, Speed hinted on some of his plans where he will attend a Manny Pacquiao event. Will he get a chance to spar against him?

After visiting the slum areas, Speed went straight to Binondo, Manila where he tried Sago't Gulaman and Spicy Siomai. He was even tricked into thinking that he was eating cat meat.

As he finishes off his Binondo trip, Speed bossed around as he piloted a kalesa.

But overall in his first day in the Philippines, Speed was overwhelmed by the reception he received in the Philippines. Upon riding a 'Move It' motorcycle to BGC, he was swarmed by cyclists and other fans. Once he landed in BGC, he was greeted by a huge crowd that kept him hostage.
