THERE'S NO denying that Darren Jason Watkins Jr. aka IShowSpeed is making a lot of waves in his surprise visit to the Philippines.
There were many meme-worthy moments that took place, such as getting his ankles broken by a random 16-year-old in a 1-v-1 basketball game, to him getting fooled that siopao is made out of cat's meat, and that time when he started signing PH passports.
By the end of his first day stream, Speed garnered a total of 100K new subscribers on his YouTube channel.
While there were many highs in his PH tour, there were also some nervy moments that took place, such as that time when a kid heckled the 'n-word' at his face.
And it didn't just end there, as Speed's life was on the line when he booked a Move It ride from Manila to BGC, which saw him getting surrounded and harassed by fans on the road.
Upon arriving in BGC, Speed was held hostage by a crowd in a Mercedes Benz store. He looked worried, thinking of the possibilities that the mob would break the glass doors and cause property damage.
But when his subscriber count grew, he appreciated the love and support from the community.

It got worse on the 2nd day of his stream.
Initially he was proud of the 300K new subscribers he garnered 24 hours during his PH tour livestream.
But as he explored the city where Manny Pacquiao lived, the horde of fans grew larger, and when they started going maniacal, he was forced to scream at the top of his voice.
"Back up yo! Back up!" he shouted while pushing the crowd away. His entourage of guards tried everything to calm the crowd.
Then when he rode his vehicle, which didn't have any windows, fans started pulling his hair and even his ears. In the process of doing so, Speed lost an earring.
"D*mn what's wrong with these motherf**kers!" he stressed.
He added: "Look at that sh*t. The whole street is locked down. This is worse than BGC. Oh my god, this sh*t is crazy!"

Speed urges Filipinos to calm down
While he is grateful for the passion that Filipinos bestowed on him, Speed was also frustrated that the crowd failed to respect his boundaries.
"This has been the lit-test country I've been to, but they do not listen. To this day Poland is the best example of like listening," he narrated while riding inside a private vehicle.
"I'm literally yelling on their face, 'Chill out! Chill out bro! Like don't walk in front,' but they don't listen."
While the American content creator raved the attention he received, he begged the community to be respectful. Speed highlighted that fans from other countries were able to match his passion, while acknowledging his boundaries.
"They can match my energy but there are times when it's too much, like I can't even walk bro. It's just bad bro. Chat I've been in countries that matched my energy and it was cool. This (Philippines) is insane."
Then after he enjoyed his Jollibee meal, the mob started overwhelming him. When he reached his vehicle, Speed was cussing nonstop. He reiterated that he loves the Philippines, but insisted that the community needs to relax.
"When I come back to the Philippines, I can't be doing this. Real sh*t bro. I can't be doing this."
"Chat I love y'all boys, I love the Philippines, I appreciate y'all, I generally love y'all, but when I come back please just chill, just tone it down so I can actually stream."
By the end of his 2nd day video, Speed announced that he will be unveiling Philippine merch.
"I love y'all boys. I'm gonna drop some Philippine merch so check out the link, I'm gonna post the link. I love y'all boys."
He even mentioned another milestone moment: "We gained 500K subscribers in this whole Philippines tour."
