AS ADIDAS continues to partner with experts around the world to innovate the ever-complex technology on women’s sportswear, its latest release, SS23 Sports Bra and Leggings, has been by far most useful in the Philippines.
Given the humidity in the tropical country, there is an underlying discomfort of wearing garments that are too tight as they rub off the skin, especially when sweat comes in. Hence, when workout clothes aren’t tight enough, 58 percent of women usually need to pause halfway to fix the garment.
And that’s exactly the evident feature found in the new collection.
Fitness guru Nikki Torres shared that there’s ‘less fixing’ in the garments, which enables her to focus more on her movements while working out.
“A lot of leggings tend to roll down in seated exercises or even squats. In the new collection, I’ve noticed there’s less of that, so I don’t have to worry about constantly having to fix my waistband,” the yoga teacher told SPIN Life.
She also bared that the new adidas tech combined AEROREADY and HEAT.RDY to produce the collection, which thoroughly assists the body in keeping cool through its mesh ventilation zones.
“I love how the HIIT collection is mapped to a woman’s body, strategically placed where women heat up and sweat,” she shared.
The collection boasts four specialized features: the ALL GYM for general workouts, the TLRD HIIT Training for sporadic movements, RUNNING, and STUDIO for yoga and the like.
Torres also bared that she’s put the collection to test during the global brand’s fitness retreat in Singapore. She is joined by former UP Pep Squad and courtside reporter Samantha Corrales.
The SS23 Bra & Leggings Collection ranges from PHP 2000 to PHP 4900 and is available on adidas website.
