ON the morning of Game 2 of the Lakers-Heat finals, Calvin Abueva sported a jersey with Kobe Bryant graphics for a hotel room workout.
"Go Lakers," he said in the caption of his Instagram post.
He also tagged Medalla Sports Clothing. The Quezon City-based apparel shop had recently produced a “Comeback Is Real” Abueva jersey.
Despite the tight quarters of the hotel room, Phoenix was able to make it all work as the players got in their morning sweat session. Abueva filmed a video of himself doing some easy work on the air bike, while beside him, Justin Chua got on the mat with the kettlebell.
From Abueva’s post, you can also see a foam roller, a pair of dumbbells, and what looks like a barbell bar.
