VARIOUS RUMORS have been circling around of a dream tandem featuring Joshua "Ch4knu" Mangilog and Frederic Benedict "Bennyqt" Gonzales, with the latter raising public concerns if he will stay with Team Liquid PH.
Is it possible that Bennyqt could be gunning for a move to Omega Esports? According to SPIN.ph sources, Omega Esports could make significant changes with their roster for Season 15.
The source added that the team has made the decision to keep three players from last season, while making leaps and bounds in two key positions.
Last season Omega surprised the MLBB community as they defied expectations, finishing 3rd overall during the regular season. Many expected them to finish at the bottom two of the standings.
Unfortunately though, the team's lack of playoff experience bit them as they got swept by Blacklist International in the first round of the playoffs. Yet despite their early playoff exit, the team had promising pieces that they could build around for the future.
The key components of that squad consisted of Ch4knu, Nowee "Ryota" Cabailo Macasa, Andrew Lew "Andoryuuu" Flora, Jayson "UK1R" Alupit, and Jomari "Jowm" Pingol.
They further boosted their ranks by adding Ch4knu's brother Jet "Bornok" Amorsolo into the mix.
Combined with a solid coaching staff featuring Lemuel Josh "Lembot" Lucban and Allec Monsseur "SN4P" Alberto, and Omega could follow into the footsteps of AP.Bren where they could capitalize on the next generation of players, and mold them to become champions.
