PUREBLENDS looks like it will hit the ground running ahead of its maiden season in the PBA.

Sources told SPIN.ph that the Bryann Calantoc-owned franchise is already setting its sight on two possible deals that might come as a surprise to fans, just days after agreeing to a buyout of the NorthPort frachise.

Pureblends, which according to sources will carry the male brand Titan Max in its maiden foray in the pro league, is already talking to four teams for possible multi-player trades.

On the table for the week-old PBA squad is a trade that will ship former Dela Salle Green Archers star guard Evan Nelle to Phoenix via three-team trade that will also involve Converge.

Sources said Nelle will finally land at Phoenix, the team that nearly drafted him third overall in last year’s draft, for the rights to Larry Muyang, who will be shipped to Converge to join his longtime godfather Dennis Pineda, the presumptive incoming coach of the FiberXers.

Muyang is currently serving an indefinitely PBA ban for breach of contract after signing with the Giant Lanterns without permission from Phoenix, who nonetheless still owns his signings rights in the pro league.

Converge will then send seldomly used bigman Jeo Ambohot to Pureblends. The former NCAA MVP was recently signed to a one-year extension by the FiberXers.

The other trade that Pureblends is looking at is a direct swap with Blackwater wherein they will send Jio Jalalon to the Bossing in exchange for Justin Chua.

This, however, might include TNT as the reigning Governors and Commissioner’s Cup champion is eyeing Chua as a stop-gap in Poy Erram's absence and on the lookout for a solid guard in lieu of injured star Jayson Castro.

Jalalon has long been coveted by TNT but his last conract with NorthPort proved to be a hurdle.

The former Arellano Chiefs star will be eligible for free agency at the end of the month. Because of this, Pureblends will likely add another asset to complete a deal.
