THE first-ever player selected by Converge in the PBA Draft remains a FiberXer.
The franchise retained the services of former NCAA Finals MVP Jeo Ambohot after he agreed to a one-year contract extension on Wednesday.

Sweet shooting big man Bryan Santos was also signed to a new contract for two years on the same day.
Team governor Archen Cayabyab and alternate governor CK Kanapi-Daniolco witnessed the contract signing of both Ambohot and Santos, who are represented by players’ agent Danny Espiritu.
This will be the fourth season of the 6-foot-7 Ambohot with the same team that picked him No. 3 overall in the Season 47 draft fresh off winning a second straight NCAA title with Letran.
He is the first player drafted by the FiberXers since acquiring the Alaska franchise.
The 6-foot-5 Santos, meanwhile, came on board in Season 48 after being selected in the second round (No. 14 overall) of the 2023 draft.

Santos previously played for Technological Institute of the Philippines, before later transferring to University of Santo Tomas.
He also hails from San Luis, Pampanga, hometown of Converge deputy coach and Pampanga Vice Governor Dennis 'Delta' Pineda.
