KEN Holmqvist will be playing for Barangay Ginebra in the PBA 3x3 which will open on November 20 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Holmqvist will be joined in the roster by Mikey Cabahug, Dennice Villamor, Jollo Go, Hubert Cani, and Rene Cunanan.
Uneventful debut
The inclusion of Holmqvist comes after an uneventful conference with the five-a-side team of Ginebra in the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup.
Holmqvist was drafted 12th overall when Barangay Ginebra picked last in the PBA Season 46 draft. However, he only played in two games and saw action in a total of two minutes.
Initially, Val Chuaca was part of the Ginebra 3x3 team but later signed a deal with Blackwater in the 5-on-5 following the hiring of Ariel Vanguardia as head coach.
