GILAS Pilipinas continued its training inside the Inspire Sports Academy in Calamba, Laguna on Father’s Day as the Fiba Basketball World Cup draws near.
Gilas coach Chot Reyes, on his Instagram account, gave a glimpse of the Gilas training inside the facility, posting a video that saw reigning PBA MVP and new dad Scottie Thompson working out.
Other fathers who are at Inspire include Reyes, assistant coaches Tim Cone, Jong Uichico, and Josh Reyes, Japeth Aguilar, CJ Perez, and Poy Erram.
Gilas had two practice sessions on Sunday as the 12 players resumed their training in preparation for the Fiba Basketball World Cup.

Also taking part in the training are June Mar Fajardo, Ange Kouame, Rhenz Abando, Kiefer Ravena, Thirdy Ravena, Chris Newsome, AJ Edu, and Jamie Malonzo.
The nationals are also gearing up for a pocket tournament in Estonia where they will also play against Finland aside from the host team.
They will leave on Thursday.
