KIANNA Dy’s road to recovery has ramped up ahead of the new PVL season.
Roughly a full calendar year has passed since Dy last saw action for the now-defunct F2 Logistics.
She’d first miss all of the 2023 Second All-Filipino Conference with a knee injury before the former champion club's surprise disbandment in December.
Dy would be joined by former Lady Spikers-turned-Cargo Movers Kim Fajardo and Majoy Baron to PLDT in a star-studded F2 player exodus.

While she still hasn’t made her debut for her new team, unlike Fajardo and Baron who’ve played the 2024 All-Filipino and Reinforced Conferences, will time soon come for Dy to don a new shade of red?
Making up for lost time
All 12 PVL teams now enter the final stretch of preseason preparations for the forthcoming six-month-long All-Filipino wars, tentatively slated on Nov. 9.
Dy has been spotted in recent team training clips and photos shared by the High Speed Hitters on social media over the past few weeks.

PLDT made it clear that Dy’s recent participation in team training is part of her gradual integration as she looks to return to full fitness in the soonest possible time.
“Kianna trains with the team three times a week for now,” the team said.
“She is gradually integrating herself into the program so her body will once again get used to tough training.”
All will be known on Dy’s status for the rest of the half-year-long conference in a few weeks’ time as PLDT begins its quest to avenge a disheartening, controversy-marred playoff exit in last month’s import-laden tilt.
