SHAYA Adorador said the University of the East Lady Warriors never thought of quitting as they endured years of heartbreak.

It was actually Francis Vicente who threatened to quit if they don’t end the losing run now.

The Lady Warriors finished the season with a victory in straight sets over the Adamson Lady Falcons - the team's first in 58 games stretching close to four years.

“Wala pong ganoon, na gusto na mag-quit, kasi ‘yung patience nga po may kalalabasan, alam kong mananalo din kami balang araw, pana-panahon lang daw ‘yan eh,” she said.

Adorador, a third year outside hitter, led the way for the Lady Warrios with 14 points, 17 digs and seven excellent receptions.

“Kaya nangyari ’yan kasi I told them, ‘walang bibigay’” said Vicente.

“If they won’t win, alis na ako kasi hindi ako sanay nang natatalo eh. So ngayon sabi ko pag nanalo kayo andyan ako sa tabi niyo,” he said.

“So mangyayari na ‘yun.
