“Our new driving force and guiding light has come aboard! We are ready and excited as you steer us to new heights as our head coach. Welcome to the Angels family, Coach Koji Tsuzurabara," the Angels wrote.

Tsuzurabara once called the shots for the under-19 side of 2023 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Invitational Conference guest club Kinh Bac Bac Ninh of Vietnam.
His coaching resume also extends beyond the young Vietnamese side as he has already handled a vast array of both pro league and national teams.
Among his former managed clubs were Japanese clubs Hitachi and Oita Miyoshi, Arabian team Al-Hedayah, New Zealand-based Hamilton side, and the national teams of Chinese Taipei, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Thailand's under-20 and under-21 programs.
Petro Gazz will soon flex its five offseason signings in Van Sickle, Myla Pablo, Ethan Arce, Joy Dacoron, and Mich Morente in the season-opening conference of the 2024 PVL season next month.
However, the Angels will have to quickly ride Tsuzurabara's new system as he becomes the sixth Petro Gazz head coach in a two-year window. He succeeds the likes of outgoing mentor Timmy Sto. Tomas, now-head of volleyball operations Oliver Almadro, PLDT coaches Rald Ricafort and Arnold Laniog, and Farm Fresh head coach Jerry Yee.
