"An Angel sent from heaven has arrived to refuel our journey! We're thrilled to have you here, Brooke Van Sickle," the Angels announced.
The 24-year-old Hawaii-born outside hitter, who began her decorated young career with US NCAA schools University of Oregon and University of Hawaii (UH), briefly played for Cyprus-based pro club AEL Limassol and before moving to the Philippines.

In her final year as UH team captain, Van Sickle won the MVP, best scorer, and best outside spiker nods to lead the 2021 US NCAA Big West’s All-Conference Team.
The following year, she also received the best attacker plum for UH in beach volleyball and was nominated for the 2022 NCAA Woman of the Year honors.
Brooke's mother Lisa Bragado-Van Sickle was once a top ace at Hawaii Pacific University while his father Gary Van Sickle spent two years with the UH men's volleyball team from 1988 to 1990.
Van Sickle is Petro Gazz' fifth signing of the year after previously securing the services of Ethan Arce, Joy Dacoron, Mich Morente, and the returning Myla Pablo.
