“Nag-struggle talaga kami sa first two sets na para bang hinayan namin na mag-error kami, which is hindi dapat. Kaya ni-remind kami ni Coach O na bata yan, so mas gigil yan sa atin,” said Soltones.
After a 40-minute second set which they nipped 31-29, the Angels closed out the contest in convincing fashion.

“I am happy with how my players performed today. Yun nga lang talaga yung first two sets namin 21 errors kaagad, so I guess dun yung naka-maximize yung Farm Fresh. Pero I’m happy naman nung third set na-minimize namin yung mistakes namin,” said Petro Gazz coach Oliver Almadro.
“I hope we can bring this momentum towards the next game,” added Almadro as they face the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers on Thursday.
The Foxies committed 30 errors as they dropped to 0-3. They next take on the Cignal HD Spikers.
Jhasmin Pascual led the Foxies with 11 points, while Kate Santiago had seven markers.
