ANOTHER one bites the dust for Creamline amid its ongoing roster shakeup after parting ways with opposite hitter Mich Morente.
The 30-year-old, who tied the knot with longtime Cool Smashers mainstay Pangs Panaga late last year, was released by the club on Saturday.

Morente’s exit marks Creamline’s third offseason departure following the releases of veterans Pau Soriano and Rizza Mandapat, and its first roster move of the new year.
She had just one full campaign to her name with the Cool Smashers during the 2025 Reinforced Conference, but was already seen at the sidelines back in the PVL on Tour preseason tournament last year.
That stint coincided with a rare downturn for the franchise, as Creamline failed to reach the semifinals and the podium for the first time in its eight-year history, snapping a remarkable 19-tournament medal streak.
A title-less 2025 has since pushed the Cool Smashers into an unfamiliar reset, with the club beginning to part ways with several mainstays, as they look to open roster spots for new and fresh pieces in their bid to return to championship contention in 2026.
Morente now heads back into free agency in search of her seventh team with just weeks to go before the 2026 All-Filipino Conference opens on January 30.
Prior to her brief stint with Creamline, she suited up for the Perlas Spikers, F2 Logistics, Army, PLDT, and Petro Gazz.
