NEW beginnings await former Adamson ace blocker Lorene Toring following a UAAP career-ending ACL injury back in January.

Toring was a surprise inclusion in the 19-woman roster of the Farm Fresh Foxies for the upcoming 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference starting February 20 as all 12 squad rosters were revealed on Thursday morning.

She might be leaving the San Marcelino side earlier than expected, but the feeling of home won't be fading anytime soon as Toring reunites with five former Lady Falcons in ex-captain Louie Romero, Trisha Tubu, Kate Santiago, Ckyle Tagsip, and Cae Lazo.

Apart from her ex-college teammates, Toring will be under the mentorship of former Adamson coach Jerry Yee again — but in the pro ranks this time around.
Sans its veteran leader in Toring, Adamson looks to carry over its promising run of form in the preseason when the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament kicks off in two days' time.
But although Toring won't be making her pro league debut just yet amid her ongoing recovery, her new side Farm Fresh eyes a bigger leap from its dismal two-win campaign in last year's season-ending All-Filipino Conference with ten new signings — Toring now included — at its disposal.
