JOLINA Dela Cruz underwent surgery on a right anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury suffered at the tail-end of last year's season-ending PVL All-Filipino Conference while still playing for F2 Logistics.

The former F2 Logistics spiker shared a post-surgery update on her Instagram page on Wednesday evening after the procedure, which she said was successful.

"Surgery was a success!!! Now, let’s get this recovery started. Day 1," Dela Cruz wrote.
During the second set of the Cargo Movers' penultimate prelims match versus PLDT, Dela Cruz took an awkward fall on her right knee after a failed dig attempt and immediately fell down in pain.
Dela Cruz was stretchered off the court and did not return to action in what would be an eventual defeat for the then-eliminated F2 Logistics side in its final PVL conference ahead of the club's disbandment.
The new year marked a fresh start for the former UAAP best outside spiker as she led nine offseason signings for the Farm Fresh Foxies alongside the likes of Caitlin Viray andher former F2 teammates Elaine Kasilag and Chinnie Arroyo.
With the 2024 PVL season slated to begin in February, there is no immediate timetable for Dela Cruz' on-court return and is set to miss significant time as she recovers ahead of her soon-to-be Farm Fresh debut.
Such indefinite absence, however, did not affect the club's decision to still sign a top-caliber talent like Dela Cruz.
"We are aware that she can't play yet because of her previous injury from last conference. But honestly, believer ako sa talent and passion ni Jolina for the sport. Even si Boss Frank [Lao] believes this and pursued her kaya nakita siguro ni Jolina how genuine we are in our intentions," said Farm Fresh assistant team manager Kiara Cruz
"We are very confident that she'll regain her form and become a better athlete after this. And rest assured, we will all be behind in her recovery," she added..
