“Ang nagustuhan ko dito (sa laro versus PLDT), kahit na down na kami ng first two sets, talagang naibalik pa namin ‘yung momentum namin sa laro. Yun lang yung talagang nagustuhan ko kasi nangyayari talaga eh.
“Buti nga kami kahit papaano, nakausad kami ng dalawang (sets). Although kinapos pa rin, sobrang sarap ng pakiramdam sa nangyari dahil kung mangyayari ulit ‘to, alam na namin yung gagawin namin,” said Alinsunurin.
With last conference’s finalists Creamline and Choco Mucho dealt with opening defeats three days apart, there is now a five-way logjam atop the league table at 4-1 (win-loss) with PLDT, Petro Gazz and Cignal.
Reigning PVL MVP Sisi Rondina admitted she had an off-night and was frustrated by how the Flying Titans were dominated by the High Speed Hitters in Sets 1 and 2.
“Alam ni coach (Alinsunurin) kung gaano ako kainis first two sets pa lang talaga. ‘Di ko alam ano 'yung nangyari. Siguro kahit ako, 'di ako makasagot kasi kaming lahat na 'yun eh," Rondina said.
'Nagkulang kami'
“Kanina kasi, may strategy rin sila talaga na nagkulang kami. Tsaka ang bilis din ng plays nila, 'di namin in-expect talaga. Naramdaman naming may high-leaper sila which is si (Savi) Davison and du’n din sila naka-take advantage, 'di tulad sa amin na wala talaga. Hindi namin kaya 'yon.
“Kahit anong pilit naming depensahan, wala, bumabagsak talaga. Kasalanan na namin ‘yun kasi ang tagal naming nag-adjust sa grupo namin.”
