Carlos joined Chery Tiggo star spiker Mylene Paat in the three-day 2024 Korean V-League (KOVO) Women's Asian Quarter Tryouts from Apr. 29 to May 1, which runs conflict with the PVL's opening semifinal playdate on Apr. 30.

Although Creamline didn’t issue any confirmation on Carlos’ participation, the three-time PVL MVP was seen taking part in the opening day of the tryouts on Jeju Island with Paat in photos shared by KOVO on Instagram on Monday afternoon.
The Cool Smashers now face the tall order of kickstarting their single-round robin semifinals run against vengeful sister club Choco Mucho that absorbed a straight-sets loss to the defending champions in their elimination round match.
Meanwhile, a Paat-less Chery Tiggo side will face its prelims tormentor Petro Gazz to open its own semis campaign on Tuesday.
