CIGNAL has acquired the services of veteran winger Heather Guino-o and champion middle blocker Ethan Arce as the team starts rebuilding in earnest for the next PVL season.
The duo will join the returning Tin Tiamzon as the 15-strong HD Spikers got what appeared to be dependable replacements following the departure of Ces Molina, Riri Meneses and Jov Fernandez.

Guino-o spent the previous season with Capital1, the only team she's been with since turning professional.

There, the 27-year-old spiker emerged as the team’s second-leading scorer with 93 total points (8.45 points per game) in the preliminary round of 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference behind rookie ace Leila Cruz.
She also posted a 24.32 average spiking rate which was the fourth most efficient by a Solar Spiker.
The former Far Eastern University standout will be Cignal’s fifth spiker in its roster along with Tiamzon, Vanie Gandler, Ishie Lalongisip and Judith Abil.

Guino-o will also be reunited with another ex-Lady Tamaraw in Buding Duremdes who just completed her first conference as an HD Spiker.
Arce’s new shade of red
Meanwhile, newly-minted PVL champion Arce will kick off the next chapter of her volleball career with Cignal.
Arce, 24, spent over a year with Petro Gazz before deciding to leave the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference champion where she felt her talent was underutilized.
In a team with six middle blockers, Arce saw limited action for the Angels since moving to the team following the disbandment of F2 Logistics in 2023.

It is expected that she will be more comfortable with her new team as she will be reunited with Tiamzon and captain Dawn Macandili-Catindig who were her teammates at F2.
With the HD Spikers, she’ll be teaming up with a decorated defenders Jackie Acuña and Rose Doria along with newcomer Caroline Santos.
