CHOCO Mucho completed a straight-sets romp over Nxled, 25-12, 25-22, 25-18, to begin its campaign in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at the FilOil EcoOil Arena.
Reigning PVL MVP Sisi Rondina soared to a team-high 17 points on 16 attacks and one ace to lead the Flying Titans’ winning start to the season.

"First set pa lang, kami na nag-dictate ng tempo hanggang sa dulo. Although may mga time na nakakadikit sila, mabuti't pinipilit pa rin na mag-perform nang maayos," said Choco Mucho head coach Dante Alinsunurin.

As Choco Mucho's lead playmaker Deanna Wong sat out their season-opener to rest her ailing knee, the newest Flying Titan in Mars Alba orchestrated a victorious first act with 18 excellent sets and two points to her name.
The win, however, proved bittersweet after Aduke Ogunsanya, who tore her right ACL in 2022 in the exact same venue, took an awkward fall after twisting her left knee by herself.
At least for the time being sans an immediate update, the Flying Titans can breathe a sigh of relief as Ogunsanya was able to stand back up and return to the bench on her own after the incident.
"Medyo malungkot kasi ngayon, di pa namin alam ano nangyari kay Aduke (Ogunsanya). Basta importante sa amin, kailangan naming ayusin laro namin," Alinsunurin said.
Despite yielding four more errors (20) than Nxled in the match, Choco Mucho posted 45 total attacks, eight blocks, and six aces in just three sets.
