“Kung sino man ‘yung ipasok ko, nabigyan ng pagkakataon na maka-score”, said Choco Mucho coach Dante Alinsunurin.
Choco Mucho's title credentials will not be tested in a game against defending champion Creamline on Thursday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Tubino, stepping into the role of Kat Tolentino who is recovering from an auditory condition, said the performance is a boost to her confidence heading to the last two games of the eliminations.
“Kailangan ko ‘yung confidence para sa incoming games namin tsaka ‘yung trust ng mga teammates ko, ng mga coaches so parang nab-boost ‘yung morale ko. So umaangat siya, kaya napapalo ko, nadedepensa ko, nab-block ko”, said Tubino.
Choco Mucho's defense proved formidable for Strong Group as Tubino and Maddie Madayag excelled in the blocking department with 11.

Elite playmaking by veteran spiker Sisi Rondina, who churned in 17 points and eight excellent digs, also proved too much for the Athletics.
Meanwhile, team captain Dolly Versoza led Strong Group as the lone player in double-digit scoring with 12 points.
