GALERIES Tower sealed its third consecutive win at the expense of Farm Fresh, 25-18, 25-23, 25-16, in the 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on Saturday at PhilSports Arena.
The Highrisers boosted their win-loss record to 3-6 while the Foxies, now at 2-7, suffered their fourth straight defeat.
“Gusto ko lang po talaga makapaglaro, magbigay po ng effort para sa team […] Hindi ko po ine-expect na ganyan po ‘yung score ko”, said France Ronquillo after scoring 20 points on 16 attacks, one block and three aces.

Despite Galeries Tower already out of Final Four contention, coach Godfrey Okumu stressed the importance of finishing the season strong to leave a statement, compared to their 11th-place finish and 1-10 record last season.
“What we are looking for is to finish strong so that we’ll leave a statement for the next upcoming games […] Then when we come to the next conference, we’ll pick it up from there," said Okumu.
Farm Fresh narrowed the gap in the second frame but eventually lost its offensive steam in the third set. The Foxies tallied 32 attacks compared to the Highrisers’ 45.
Roma Doromal also contributed 10 points built on nine attacks and one block for Galeries Tower.
Chinnie Arroyo and Trisha Tubu paced the Foxies’ loss with eight points apiece.
