The Chargers’ departing playmaker signed off from the sport that saw her grow into an athlete, a person and a soon-to-be wife.

“After years of love and dedication to the game, I’ve decided to close this chapter. I’m retiring with a grateful heart, proud of everything this journey has given me,” Cobb said.
“As I step away from the game, I carry the strength, love, and determination it gave me.
“This isn’t the end — just a new chapter, written with the same heart that played every point.”
Setting up for the future
Cobb was among the stellar products of the La Salle women's volleyball program under multi-titled mentor Ramil de Jesus where she won two UAAP women's volleyball titles for the green-and-white in Seasons 79 and 80.

There, she was groomed to be the first successor of another Lady Spikers ace playmaker in Kim Fajardo.
The pandemic prompted an abrupt end to her UAAP career, which led her to the club volleyball scene with Fajardo at now-defunct F2 Logistics Cargo Movers in the Philippine Superliga (PSL).
She'd go on to make her pro league debut with Akari in the PVL in the 2022 Reinforced Conference, now leaving with a silver and a bronze to her name.
What would be her eventual farewell conference was marred by a neck injury that saw her miss out on a huge chunk of Akari's bronze-medal campaign.

Podium finish aside, Cobb's biggest victory yet was one that broke cover just before 2024 ended upon getting engaged with Quezon City fourth district councilor Vito Sotto, grandson of returning senator Tito Sotto.
Moving forward, Cobb will take on managerial duties with the Chargers as their newest assistant team manager. She will also be part of incoming setter-turned-coach Tina Salak's staff as Akari's setting coach, with Kamille Cal the team's lone playmaker as it stands.
