NU-Nazareth School (NUNS) finished the 2026 Rebisco Volleyball League (RVL) National Finals the same way it went through much of the tournament: in control.
NUNS turned what started as a competitive finals rematch into a runaway victory, sweeping Bacolod Tay Tung, 25-22, 25-11, 25-9, to retain the RVL National Finals crown.

Tay Tung kept pace early in the opener, but NUNS held its ground in the closing stretch to take the first set, as wel as take control it never relinquished.
Xyz Rayco spearheaded NUNS' championship effort and was rewarded with Finals MVP honors, while also earning a spot among the tournament's Best Outside Hitters.
Rayco was joined by teammate Ysabella Patricia Cruz as one of the tournament's Best Middle Blockers.
While NUNS took the biggest prize, St. John's Institute made sure to leave the National Finals with hardware of its own.
SJI secured the bronze medal after surviving University of Santo Tomas in a back-and-forth five-setter, 19-25, 25-12, 25-20, 20-25, 15-10.
Cream of the crop
Caera Celis led SJI's individual haul, taking home both Tournament MVP and Best Outside Hitter honors after helping the school secure a podium finish.
Mishaella Louise Geraldizo was named Best Setter, while Kristel May Mirasol took Best Libero honors. Edz Karylle Escultura completed SJI's four-player haul among the major awardees as another Best Middle Blocker.
UST's Megan Yesha Hernandez was recognized as Best Opposite Hitter, giving the bronze medalists and fourth-placers a representative among top individual performers.
The tournament also unveiled the RVL Select 21, a group of 21 players chosen as the best performers across the National Finals.
The selection featured three setters, six outside hitters, three opposite hitters, six middle blockers, and three liberos - reflecting the depth of young talent on display throughout the tournament.
