The Alas Pilipinas Men star finished with 11 points on nine attacks, one block, and one ace, as the Skyhawks pulled off a 25-23, 17-25, 25-16, 27-25 victory vs. the Taoyuan Leopards on Saturday.

Espejo was instantly rewarded for his strong showing as one of the team's top players of the game in his first appearance in the Taiwan Professional Volleyball League.
The match was played in front of the Skyhawks’ home crowd at the Fengshan Arena, giving Espejo the opportunity to make an early impression on the fanbase.
Inserted immediately into the rotation, Espejo provided a steady offensive option for TSG, particularly in the closing stages of the fourth set where the Skyhawks held their nerve to seal the match.

Making a Marck
Espejo's arrival also helped TSG snap out of a brief slump, lifting the Skyhawks to back-to-back wins after previously dropping two straight games.
With the victory, the Skyhawks held on to second-place in the four-team field with a 19-12 win-loss record.

Sitting atop the standings is Win Streak, the former team of fellow Alas Men standout Bryan Bagunas, which boasts of a league-best 28-3 mark.
Bagunas previously led Win Streak to back-to-back championships in 2024 and was named league MVP the year prior.
Espejo’s strong debut signals a promising start to his seventh overseas stint, as he looks to bolster TSG’s push in the second half of the season.
