THE Perpetual Lady Altas kept their perfect record intact after taking down Jose Rizal University, 25-23, 16-25, 25-14, 25-22, in the NCAA Season 98 women's volleyball tournament at the San Andres Complex in Manila.
The power duo of Shaila Omipon and Mary Rhose Dapol pounced on a sluggish JRU floor defense in the first set and after a second-set hiccup steadied the ship to lead the Lady Altas to their second win of the season.

Dapol pummeled two fierce attacks for Perpetual in the closing stages before JRU player Lyka Egera's anticlimactic service error kept last year's Final Four contenders still winless after two games.
Dapol earned another Player of the Game honor with her 26 markers on 17 attacks, eight aces, and one block.
But tougher opposition awaits the Lady Altas as they take on Season 97 runner-up Arellano University on Saturday.
