CHONBURI, Thailand – Chino Sy-Tancontian secured his second gold medal of the 33rd Southeast Asian Games as part of the Philippine judo team that ruled the mixed event.
Sy won with Esleken Kedo, Gabriel Benedict Quitain, Randy Ferrera Jr., John Viron Ferrer, Rhyan Zarchie Garay, Joemari-Heart Rafael, Leah Jhane Lopez, Khrizzie Pabulayan, Margaret Fajardo, and Maxine Denise Mababangloob.

But it was Kedo who made Sy’s second gold of the competition possible when he won over Kittipong Hantratin of Thailand in the knockout match of a best-of-seven series.
