“Too bad he tested positive,” said Philippine Olympic Committee president Abraham Tolentino. “That’s one less medal – a potential at that – in our campaign.”

Gebbie bagged a silver medal in the men’s 4x100-meter freestyle relay and bronze in the 50-meter freestyle in the 2019 SEA Games at Clark.
He also holds the Philippine record in the 50-meter freestyle with 22.57 seconds and in the 50-meter butterfly with 24.34 seconds.
Three kickboxers also tested positive on the initial test but was cleared last week after a retest.
