MEGAWORLD announced on Thursday that it will be giving a residential condominium unit at McKinley Hill as reward to each Filipino athlete who wins a gold medal at the 2024 Olympics Games in Paris.
The fully-furnished two-bedroom residential condominium unit valued at P24-million inside the company’s 50-hectare McKinley Hill township in Taguig City will be apart from the rewards Paris medalists stand to receive from the government under the Athletes Incentives Act.
The Incentives Act guarantees a P10M award for an Olympic gold medalist.

The property empire of tycoon Andrew L. Tan also rewarded Hidilyn Diaz a residential condominium unit in Eastwood City when the preeminent weightlifter won the country's first Olympic gold medal in Tokyo three years ago.
By conservative estimates, Diaz's incentives amounted to at least P60M after her historic gold medal in the Tokyo Games.
After losses suffered by boxer Eumir Marcial and Hergie Bacyadan, the remaining Filipino athletes with a legit shot at a gold medal are pole-vaulter EJ Obiena, gymnast Carlos Yulo, and boxers Nesthy Petecio and Carlo Paalam.
“This 2024, we are celebrating our 100th year of participating in the Olympic Games, and what a way to celebrate this milestone than by recognizing the superb competitive spirit of our newest Olympic gold medalist and welcoming them to McKinley Hill," said Megaworld president Lourdes T. Gutierrez-Alfonso.
