AS CONFETTI rained down on the hardcourt at the close of Game 6, the first thing Scottie Thompson did when he hefted the Finals MVP plaque was to kiss his wife Jinky.
On Instagram, he was able to put his feelings into words.
“Dahil anjan ka palagi nakasuporta. IM FREE TO REACH HIGHER!” wrote the 28-year-old, who is poised to become the new face of the PBA.
In a post published earlier today, April 27, Thompson went on: “I thank God every single day dahil binigay ka Niya sakin. Dahil sayo mas nakilala ko si Lord. You motivate me, You Elevate me on and off the court sa pamamagitan ng mga word of God na lagi mong sinishare sa akin everyday.

“MY QUEEN[!] YOU THE REAL MVP! THANK YOU AND I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!” he finished.
Thompson wed Jinky after a whirlwind secret romance last year, before finally having a solemn beachside wedding ceremony last December.
In a momentous conference, Scottie has swooped up the Best Player of the Conference and the Finals MVP award, with many expecting that he’s also a lock in for conference MVP.
