WITH THE silver medal barely warm on her shoulders in the Olympic ceremony, incentives have started to pour in for Nesthy Petecio.
The Filipina boxer is set to receive a condominium unit in Lanang, Davao City from real estate tycoon Andrew L. Tan.
According to a statement released by Suntrust, the condominium is worth P10 million.
The unit is located at One Lakeshore Drive inside Davao Park District, just over an hour drive from her hometown, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.

Incentives for Nesthy Petecio starting to pour in
"we are very proud of this huge accomplishment of Nesthy Petecio. Her silver medal in the Olympics is a historic one because this women's featherweight division of boxing debuts only in this Tokyo Olympis, she is the first-ever silver medalist in the category. Rightfully, she deserves the reward for the pride she gives to the Filipino nation," Atty. Harrison Paltongan, president of Suntrust Properties, Inc. said in a statement released Tuesday afternoon.
Suntrust Properties Inc. is a subsidiary of Megaworld Corp., Andrew Tan's company who also granted Hidilyn Diaz a condominium unit incentive when she won the gold medal.
Petecio lost her bout against home bet Irie Sena via unanimous decision.
However, she is still the country's second medalist in this year's Summer Games.
Petecio is also the first female boxer from the Philippines to win a medal in the Olympic sport.
Just last weekend, Ovialand already granted Petecio a Candelaria, Quezon property worth P2.5 million. In addition, Century Properties also promised a new house and lot to all medal winners.
