The boxing ring for the proposed boxing match between Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III and Davao City acting mayor Sebastian "Baste" Duterte is already being set up at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

Photos shared by the PNP-PIO on Friday showed PNP staff setting up the ring inside the historic venue in anticipation of the proposed charity event on Sunday morning.
The Games and Amusements Board (GAB) has also pitched in to make the fight happen, committing to recommend a qualified referee to officiate the boxing match and have its medical personnel assist on the event.
This comes after Duterte laid out new sets of conditions - dragging government officials particularly president Bongbong Marcos into the mix and dared them to undergo drug testing for the fight to commence.
Torre, 55, a member of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Boxing Corps, has been training for the fight and was seen jogging in the rain around the PNP Oval inside Camp Crame on Friday morning.
However, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) director Jaime Santiago bared on Friday that Duterte, 37, is bound for Singapore with his family and staff.
The top cop said that regardless if Duterte shows up or not, plans for an outreach operation for those affected by the recent calamities will still proceed.
So will that boxing ring be used?
