IN the end, it will be just all noise and no fight.
That is after Davao City acting mayor Sebastian "Baste" Duterte laid out his own conditions for a boxing match proposed by Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III in response to Duterte's challenge.
In a video posted on his Facebook page, the son of former president Rodrigo Duterte belittled Torre's idea of making the slugfest a charity event.

"Kung gusto mo talaga ng suntukan, bakit kailangan mo pa ng charity-charity? Why do you need... [bakit] kailangan mo pang gamitin yang nangyayari ngayon na baha diyan sa Metro Manila?" he said on Thursday.
Though Duterte reiterated he's very much willing to fight Torre, even quipping, "Matagal ko na talagang gustong makabugbog ng unggoy," the city mayor dragged government officials into the mix and dared them to undergo drug testing.

"If you [Torre] are really serious about this, kung gusto mo yang charity na yan, let me lay my own conditions for the event, kung serious ka talaga," he said.
"Pakiusapan mo yang amo mo na presidente, let it come out of his mouth that all elected officials should undergo a hair follicle drug test. Papalagan ko yang charity-charity mo na yan. Walang problema, if it will answer the issues nitong bansa natin, I can do that."
Torre has earlier proposed venues for the match, initially the Smart Araneta Coliseum and later on, at Rizal Memorial Coliseum, and even said that sponsors were already prepared to step up in the name of helping those affected by the calamity.

The top cop also said that regardless if Duterte shows up on Sunday morning or not, an outreach will be happening in the historic Manila stadium.
Whether they step on the canvas, however, is the bigger mystery.
