AMAZON PRIME has once agin released a new series centered on a popular video game. If before, fans got a chance to witness the vast wasteland of Fallout, now Amazon has decided to explore the Japanese mafia.
RGG Studios, the developers of the Like A Dragon video game franchise, has announced that Amazon will be making a series on their video game, which will be aired on October 24, of this year.
The Like A Dragon series has always been renonwed for its comedic and over the top tone which has caused a lot of laughs and memes to the community.
From housemaids and pyrodancers serving as combatants to gardeners using their lawn mowers as weapons, expect Amazon to implement the same formula to maintain the heart and soul of the series.
The Amazon series will focus on the adventures of Kazuma Kiryu, the protagonist of the very first game, who tries his best to live a normal life after saying goodbye to the yakuza lifestyle. Ryoma Takeuchi, who previously played as the main character of the Kamen Rider Drive series, will be portraying Kazuma Kiryu.
It was also announced that the series will be directed by Masaharu Take and Kengo Takimoto and will feature six episodes.
With Amazon on the helm, things are looking promising for Like A Dragon, given the company's beautiful take on the Fallout franchise.
