ALL year round, Filipina teen tennis sensation Alex Eala had been relentless in gracing both the juniors and pro stage everywhere around the world.

Eala played all the active Grand Slams and saw action in ITF and WTA tours at least twice a month.

She was last seen in the 2021 US Open Juniors Championships, where she finished in the quarterfinals, in September.

After that, the 16-year-old dropped out of sight for some time.

Former PBA commissioner Noli Eala, who is Alex’s uncle, revealed that she was actually suffering a injury that caused her to pause from competitions.

“Alex Eala is currently recovering from an injury which has forced her to slow down in her sched,” he wrote in a tweet on Thursday night.

Kom Noli said that he would bare more details in his weekend show, Power&Play, on Saturday morning.
