Just today, Phoenix Fuel Masters added to the bubble shenanigans as Alex Mallari's signature long hair was trimmed into a mullet by fellow Fuel Masters Jason Perkins, Matthew Wright, and Mike Gamboa.
Now that's what you call trust between teammates.
"No one has recognized me at 1st glance," the Fil-Am swingman wrote on his Instagram post.
For the longest time, his long hair has become his signature look as a player. But thanks to Perkins, Wright, and Gamboa, that's now history.
Although it is not quite clear how the final product actually looked, but for sure it won't be mullet-style, said Mallari. "Unfortunately the mullet was short lived," his post continued.
