ANSWER is, she doesn't.

Instead, Kylie Verzosa created two body-positive brands to help others feel good about themselves.

With millions of eyes on her with mouths just waiting to yap, Verzosa has long endured not only judgmental stares, but also distasteful comments about her physique.

"I feel good about my body no matter what people say about it - whether they say I'm too skinny or whatever. I know I take care of myself holistically, and I feel healthy," she told SPIN Life.

Earlier this year, the celebrity-beauty queen introduced SOLA, a shapewear brand that caters to women in different shapes, with sizes ranging from XS to 2XL.

SOLA shapewear - which includes bodysuits, briefs, and shorts - has compression, but does not restrict movements.

Then just this week, Verzosa jumped into skin care as well by introducing Ora, a firming body lotion.

"With SOLA and Ora, I agree that looking good is feeling good. I just really love the plea of making your body better," Verzosa said, lovingly talking about her brands that are crafted with technology that flatters the body.

A lifelong fire and desire

But where exactly does this fascination with all things physical come from?

Miss International 2016 revealed she grew up loving the fitness industry, as her father used to own a gym. Then not long after, she was also introduced to playing volleyball because of her height.

"My dad's business when we were younger was a gym, and ever since, he instilled in me that it's very healthy and relevant to work out, be active, and he would always tell us to watch out diets. Back in college in Ateneo, I also go to the gym in between classes," she shared.

Later on, she also invested in her nutrition, turning pescetarian over the pandemic.

"When I started modelling, that's when I became conscious with what I ate, and I have been a pescetarian for five years now. I just noticed I feel healthier, and I could run faster after I tried the diet," she said. "Currently, I do pilates, gym, yoga, boxing, sauna, and even ice baths."

Now a CEO of body-positive brands, Verzosa's only piece of advice is to listen your own body rather than nasty comments made by others.

As she put it, "I tried many different things for my body, and I learned how to listen to it, and it's the best thing I did for myself. Through it, I've found a way to deal with my mental and physical issues. Now, I have my trainor and nutritionist, and I follow them strictly."
