Indie games galore

Just like in last year's PGDX, the local indie gaming scene in the Philippines will be under the spotlight with a couple of promising titles that could be worth exploring.

Until Then, a Filipino indie story based game that was recently released on Steam, and a game that has brought a lot of tears in our eyes, will be featured in this year's festivities.

Then there's the arcade like tower defense game known as Tower of Cards, which has one of the most unique gameplay features in the genre.

And there's a plethora of Pinoy indie games that could be worth the venture, ranging from platformers, otome, multiplayer party games, etc.

SEGA and SNK join in

If you love the Persona or Shin Megami Tensei series or if you grew up playing the King of Fighters and Metal Slug games, well guess what? Both SEGA and SNK will offer gaming sessions in PGDX.

Both of these international game devs have some upcoming titles that could be rattle the scene. SEGA has a ton of new projects such as their Persona inspired medieval game, Metaphor: ReFantazio.

Meanwhile, SNK has their Metal Slug Tactics and Fatal Fury: City of Wolves game, and perhaps we could get a chance to play these games in PGDX.

And there are other things to look forward to in this year's PGDX as the likes of Een Mercado and Myrtle Sarrosa will serve as judges in this year's cosplay competition, while VCT duo of Allyza Taylor and Justin Villaserin will host the festivities, specifically in the final day, adding color to your journey in the SMX Convention Center.
