PLAYSTATION UNVEILD a trailer of the upcoming story adventure game, Until Then, developed by indie-game producer Polychroma Games.
Based on the trailer, there are elements from Philippine society that can be seen, with the opening sequence showing off what looks like LRT-2's Katipunan Station, and references on ManuLife and Jollibee.
Even the title showcases its Filipino roots with the use of Baybayin.
A game riddled with profound themes
But beyond the references, Until Then likewise features a pixelated art style, centered on a Mark Borja's journey.
Themes of love, loss, and friendship will be fully explored in this upcoming PS5 game as Borja navigates through his life as a piano artist and high school student. Players are then tasked to accomplish homeworks, establish relationships, perform mini-games, which includes eating street food.
However there's a twist on his journey as Mark will be forced to uncover a mystery in his life, where people will suddenly disappear while his memories will be tested.
So far, the game has yet to reveal its release date, however it will be available to play via Steam and PlayStation 5.
