THE Philippines missed the semifinals of the AFF Under-18 Women’s Championship after a 3-1 loss to Myanmar on Wednesday in Palembang, Indonesia.
Jonalyn Lucban scored the lone goal of the Filipinas U-18 in the match in the 87th minute, but it was not enough as they suffered their second loss.

Hnin Pwint Aye knocked in the first goal in the 33rd, and padded the lead with another strike in the 94th minute.
Su Myat Noe scored in the 37th.
The Filipinas U18 are now in third place following Malaysia’s 8-0 defeat against Australia, the leader in Group B with six points to also advance into the semifinals.
The Philippines will end its campaign on Friday against Malaysia.
