THE Philippine women’s football team is scheduled to face New Zealand in a friendly on Sept. 6 at the Titan Stadium in Cal State Fullerton (Sept. 7, Manila time) .
The official website of the New Zealand women’s football team made the report as it named the 22-player roster for friendlies against the Philippines and Mexico.

The Philippine team has not released an official statement on the scheduled friendly.
Coming off their conquest of the 2022 AFF Women’s Championship, the Filipinas are slated to face New Zealand, which is ranked No. 22 in the world. It will also co-host next year’s Fifa Women’s World Cup with Australia.
The friendly will be a boost to PWNT’s bid for the Women’s World Cup. Head coach Alen Stajcic previously said that it intends to compete in the Fifa windows as part of the build-up.
