THE Philippines stayed at No. 53 in the Fifa Women’s World Rankings even after topping the 2022 AFF Women’s Championship last month.
The Filipinas maintained their standing as they now have 1479.91 ranking points, an increase of 24.69 from the last time the world rating was released on July 17.

The Filipinas remained 11th in Asian Football Confederation and fifth in the Asean Football Federation, with Australia (12th), Vietnam (33rd), Thailand (41st), and Myanmar (48th) having a better standing.
The Philippines staying at No. 53 could also be attributed to Venezuela’s fifth place finish in the 2022 Copa America Femenina as it remained in 52nd with 1494.4 after getting 33.77 points.
