AFTER teasing her in The International, Marci — Mirana’s loveable sidekick from the Dragon’s Blood anime — is finally in Dota 2 with the arrival of the newest update, 7.30e. Aside from the new hero, the update has brought with it balance changes to heroes and items.

Meet Marci, Dota 2 new hero

Marci is tagged as a Melee carry or support with great initiation or escape with some decent disables.

Here's a rundown of her skills.

Dispose, which is similar to Magnus’ Horn Toss, allows Marci to toss back her target, stunning them for up to 2.1 seconds.

Her second skill Rebound is what makes her scary. Marci chooses a target, and from there jumps to a chosen spot, damaging and slowing her enemies in the landing area. This skill great for initiates or escapes with its massive 850 unit range.

Marci’s third skill Sidekick imbues her and a chosen ally with lifesteal and attack damage. At level 20, she has a talent option that adds spell immunity to Sidekick for 1.75s.

Her Ulti is Unleash. During the duration of the ultimate, Marci gains Fury charges that allow her to deliver quick strikes with a pulse in the end. The pulse slows affected opponents' attacks and movement speed.

Post TI-Balance changes in Dota 2

Patch 7.30e is also bringing with it balance changes to both heroes and items. Notable among these changes is that Magnus’ Horn Toss — a skill that won Team Spirit the Aegis back in TI10 — now no longer stuns. Instead, the skill will just provide a 100% Movement and Attack Slow to the target.

Tiny has also been hit with changes, particularly with the damage from his Tree Grab and Toss skill. Ember Spirit also received a slight nerf to his Aghanim’s Scepter. It now no longer reduces mana cost for his remnants.

Last in the notable hero changes are with Monkey King, who had his Boundless Strike cooldown increased significantly in early levels. Weaver will also be receiving nerfs to his Scepter range and mana regen.

Meanwhile, the bottle has received a change, now only holding a rune for 90 seconds. That's a massive decrease from the previous 120s. Additionally, small camps now provide smaller XP beginning in patch 7.30e.
