Mara graced the MPL Philippines stage since Season 7, standing witness to the triumphs and heartbreaking defeat of players striving for greatness.
She’s an icon and she’s the moment! Fashionable, confident, and charismatic are only a few words that describe Mara as a host. But beyond her enchanting aura, Mara is someone who truly showed love for the game, building meaningful connections with those around her in a place she calls home.
“Walking away from something you love is never easy, and MPL has been more than just a job for me—it has been my home, my family, and my life," Mara started.
"For almost four years, I have had the privilege of standing on that stage, watching dreams come true and feeling the heartbreak of those who fell short. I have announced champions, seen tears of joy and disappointment, and shared moments that will forever be part of esports history. Together, we have celebrated victories and endured painful losses. Every moment we’ve shared means the world to me, and I will carry it with me always,” Mara Aquino continued.
Mara took a moment in her farewell to express her gratitude to the MPL community, players, staff, and production team for making her journey so extraordinary.
“To the casters who brought the hype, to every player I interviewed, to all the teams who poured their hearts into every match, and to the incredible MLBB community—thank you. You made every game, every moment, feel larger than life. You are the reason I came to work every day, giving everything I could."
"To the league ops, production team, and staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and to everyone I shared laughs with in the media room—thank you for making MPL feel like home,” she added.
This may be goodbye to MPL, but it’s not goodbye forever
Though her time in MPL has come to an end, she reassured fans that a new chapter is just unfolding and hoped they will keep supporting her along the way.
“This may be goodbye to MPL, but it’s not goodbye forever. I hope you’ll continue to support me in whatever comes next because, just like in the games we love, every ending is just an opportunity to respawn and start fresh."

Mara Aquino raised the bar so high as a host, and her legacy will be remembered in the years to come. As of writing, there is no confirmation yet who will take her place as a host ahead of the MPL-PH Season 15.
