FNATIC ONIC Philippines breaks the longest win streak record in the history of MPL Philippines with 12 consecutive wins after sweeping RSG Philippines at the Green Sun Hotel in Makati City.
The Hedgehogs have now surpassed the previous records of an 11-win streak held by Blacklist International and ECHO Philippines during Seasons 8 and 12, respectively.
Rampaging through the season, Fnatic ONIC Philippines could extend the unprecedented record in their two remaining matches in the regular season, and the undefeated run until the grand finals is also within their grasp.
“Siguro, I would say there's just a chance. I mean, slightly higher, I think. Pero I wouldn't say na, alam mo yun; I wouldn't say a certain percentage. It's just a matter of making sure we're still on our toes. Consistency lang talaga. ” coach Anthony “Ynot” Senedrin said, taking into account the possibility of achieving an undefeated run through consistency.
Setting a new record in the league, Fnatic ONIC Philippines may soon see their hard work come to fruition with a generous incentive.

“Kasi daw pag nag-win streak daw kami, na-break namin record namin. Si Sir Ralph tsaka si Boss Justin sa Indonesia, tsaka si Ninong Arman, magbibigay daw ng kotse. Tig-iisa ata pero kahit second hand lang pwede na kami doon. Kahit hindi na brand new,” Duane “Kelra" Pillas revealed.
For now, Fnatic ONIC Philippines has plenty ahead of them, though Kelra plans to proceed cautiously while leveraging their upper bracket edge in the playoffs.
“Sa akin iniisip ko parin yung laban namin next week. Hindi ko muna iniisip yung playoffs. Pero parang masaya rin kasi siyempre second day ka na agad. Kumbaga papanoorin mo yung mga unang maglalaban. Mas mapag hahandaan niyo,” Kelra expressed, getting his head on the game against Smart Omega and Falcons AP.Bren in the final week of the regular season.
