SPIN.PH spotted John Paul "H2wo" Salonga watching the M5 World Championship, hoping that for his pal Renejay "Renejay" Barcarse will garner his first M-series trophy.
In an exclusive, H2wo hinted on his offseason plans. It turned out that he has been receiving offers.
"Meron overseas, meron din sa Pinas, pero meron akong natanggap. Bawal ko munang sabihin," he told SPIN.ph.
Given what H2wo has mentioned, it seems he is prepping up for the upcoming MPL season.
Is H2wo geared to join Omega?
While he didn't mention the specifics, there are hints that can be found. Blacklist's Kristoffer "BON CHAN" Ricaplaza mentioned a blind item in his vlog, that could refer to H2wo.
"Isang sikat na jungler na may malaking fanbase ang magbabalik...Pero ang mas exciting na part ay, 'Saang team siya magbabalik?' Ito ay team na sabihin na natin malaki din ang fanbase, may solid na fanbase din sila," said BON CHAN.
"Ang team na ito ay minsan namin naging rival."
Possible rivals would include the likes Omega Esports, Onic PH, and ECHO PH, with 1st option having the highest likelihood.
Onic PH might be gearing to attain King Cyric "K1NGKONG" Perez based on leaked photos, while the Orcas are loyal to Karl "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno, though there is the counter argument for H2wo becoming a reserve player for ECHO.
H2wo's arrival to Omega could potentially pose a challenge to rookie Ron Matthew "Matt" Papag, who made a solid impression in his Season 12 arrival.
Plus there are risks involved in acquiring H2wo, given that he came from a long hiatus.
