FOR THE PAST couple of days, tensions have risen in the local MLBB scene as Blacklist International's manager Julius "Banoobs" Mariano, became the talk of the town due to his controversial statements.
What happened next after Aurora's response? Banoobs went on a social media tirade which made him say a lot of spicy comments. He even went as far as throwing serious allegations towards Aurora members, which have been deleted.

His comments would then draw the attention of the MPL community, even the likes of Setsuna "Akosi Dogie" Ignacio and Falcons AP.Bren head coach Francis "Ducky" Glindro have made memes about the situation.

It seems Banoobs has caused a lot of chaos in social media, however as the drama goes on, it was slowly hinted that things were allegedly planned.

SCREENSHOT REVEAL: Para sa hype
A content creator by the name of Nico "ND.GG" David, published a video which seem to suggest that Banoobs went as far as saying those words to produce hype. He revealed that it was him who adviced Banoobs to share his sentiments.
"Aaminin ko na sa inyo, I was the one who suggested na yun yung sasabihin ni Banoobs. Pero of course, choice niya yun kung susundin niya ako or hindi," he stated on the video.
SPIN.ph asked Banoobs regarding ND.GG's video and the Blacklist manager confirmed that he was contacted by ND.GG. He even shared screenshots of their conversations, which even included other MLBB personalities.

It was also revealed in the video that ND likewise conversed with Tier One's CEO Tryke Gutierrez on the matter.
"A few weeks ako, nakausap ko si Tryke and tumawag siya sa akin and in-explain niya yung side niya. Hindi ko pwedeng sabihin lahat kasi it's of legal reasons and I cannot name names din for legal reasons," explained the content creator.
As to why the call was made? Here's what ND discovered.
Learning from the PBA
"Ang rationale kasi nun is kailangan ng hype kasi hindi naman kayo titingnin sa isang sports event kung walang hype katulad ng PBA sobrang patay, maski Php59.00 na lang yung ticket nila, hindi pa rin pinapanood ng tao," he explained in the video.
He further elaborated: "Unlike itong ML, meron ng totoong rivalry between yung Blacklist ngayon and Aurora in terms of player drama. Yung hype na iyon, kailangan iyon. Whether you like it or not, it brings people to the table."
As he went on with the video, ND learned something about the departure of the former Blacklist players, which gave him more context.
"Meron mga tao na they want to leave ang Blacklist nang agad-agad. Hindi si Renejay ito kasi tapos na yung kontrata ni Renejay. So there were some people na gustong sumama doon sa mga aalis sa Blacklist so doon nagsimula yung drama na ito."
And now that the bubble has bursted to its extreme, Banoobs highlighted to SPIN.ph that he is now more focused on his team.
"Community na bahala mag-interpret ng mga nangyari, iiwan ko na lang na ganun. Pero right now, focus na lang ako sa team talaga," he said to SPIN.ph.
